Sony Ericsson W580i Review and Specification

This is very much of an extended fever that mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson plans to inflict upon the music lovers scattered throughout the world. Why else would it be so hell bent on releasing one after another phone in its Walkman series so vehemently? Whatever the reason, but the recently introduced Sony Ericsson W580i grey in the Walkman series seems like a desperate attempt by the manufacturer to keep the fanfare going strong. Not that the popularity of the Walkman series is slumping down in the market. From what seems indicative from the mobile phone market, music lovers still practice undulated inclination for some phones under the Walkman series. But, there is a certain limit to the number of phones a manufacturer should construct to keep a tab on things running haywire. The release of the Sony Ericsson W580i is one instance of things getting a bit out of hand.

What seems quite unreasonable a move on the part of the manufacturer is the fact that the Sony Ericsson W580i black hardly contains any different stuff to make it such a fresh new arrival in the market. The phone still isn't any better in terms of the photography prowess than its previous counterparts. All that the Sony Ericsson W580i flaunts for photography lovers is a meagre 2.0 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom that is not enough to impress beholders in the present day. Even the Walkman music player is quite the same as what had been offered earlier with enhancing features like Mega Bass, Track ID and Music DJ. What's more, the slider phone, which looks much the same as several of the manufacturer's earlier creations is not even enabled with the much revelled 3G technology.

Nothing really spectacular sets the Sony Ericsson W580i apart from its Walkman predecessors, which is what rouses my doubts about the manufacturer's business strategy.
